Fire pumps are a specialty item that can be used to increase the available municipal water pressure, or to draw water from a reservoir and boost the water supply to feed the sprinkler systems fire demand. There are many different types of fire pumps with electric or diesel motors and due to the intricate part they play in the fire protection system they need to be regularly inspected and maintained.
